Diamond Halo Chorus
www.ProGuitarShop.com-The Diamond Halo Chorus pedal is a uniquely styled, hand-built modulation effect. The Halo Chorus features a pitch modulation as well as a phase modulation effect due to it’s dual path design. Each effect can be controlled individually via the Pm and Ch mix knobs. This allows the Halo Chorus to be capable of all kinds of crazy swirling madness. The Diamond Halo Chorus features an NOS Bucket-Brigade MN3007 chip that operates at 15v for extended headroom and clarity, premium Panasonic Capacitors and Burr-Brown op-amps, and true-bypass switching for pristine signal path with the effect on or off. The Diamond Halo Chorus also features stereo operation for room spinning chorus and phase (this feature is really fun with drunk people). The Diamond Halo Chorus also features an expression jack that gives the option of foot controlled modulation for rotary speaker style effects.
The Diamond Halo Chorus provides some of the smoothest modulation of any pedal on the market. The full frequency response yields full, even chorus that doesn’t sound thin or raspy. The Halo Chorus phaser function is funky and cool with super rich tone. When both are blended together there is some excellent spatial psychedelia that can be had. The Diamond Halo Chorus also features a kill-dry switch that allows for use in a parallel effects loop or you can use the chorus path for vibrato! How cool is that? Chorus, vibrato, and phase all in one pedal. The Halo Chorus from Diamond Pedals is the be-all end-all in modulation stompboxes.
Features:
* Parallel combination of delay/pitch modulation and phase modulation gives versatile control over modulation effects from light chorusing to deep ‘vibey’ swirl
* Stereo operation gives wide stereo image spread while preserving the original guitar tone
* NOS MN3007 analog bucket brigade chip running at 15V rails for extended headroom
* Dual opto ‘vibe’ phase modulation path also running at 15V rails
* All analog circuitry
* Autoconfigures for mono, mono in/stereo out, and stereo in/stereo out operation
* Pure sinusoidal LFO using a dedicated function generator IC for smooth modulation with variable ‘SPEED’ and chorus pitch modulation depth ‘CH DEPTH’
* ‘CH MIX’ and ‘PM MIX’ controls allows independent control of chorus and phase modulation mix levels in both mono and stereo configurations
* Kill-dry switch for parallel FX loop operation or use of chorus path for pure vibrato
* Mono input signal passed through to both outputs on bypass
* Phase switch to invert phase of right channel output relative to left
* LED indication of LFO speed
* Expression pedal control of LFO speed
* Same Vishay JFET/audiophile Burr Brown op-amp signal path as in Memory Lane delay
* Telecom grade relay switched true bypass operation on all inputs and outputs
* Internally regulated to 15V, can be run from provided 24V adapter or from 18V pedal board power supply outputs (including Y-cable powering from 2 9V outputs on the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 Plus)
* Genuine Hammond cast aluminium 4.7 x 4.7 x 1.0 inch case

I am a big …
I am a big effectrode fan,I have the tube Vibe,and a friend has the Effectode chorus.The effectrode is good but no where near a versatile as the Diamond.And is also 150 dallors more.But I am exited that effectrode has 2 new pedals coming,the (tube drive) O/D/,and a tube (compressor)looking foward to hearing those.But my tube Vibe is one of my nicest pedals.But Diamond pedals rock and I have more than one in my chain.
