How to convert online video to savable file?
Does anyone know how to convert online streaming video such as youtube or videos on tv websites into savable files do i can put onto CDs or DVDs or disc?

This is a complicated process. One, you will need firefox. Two, you will need to get the addon called "video downloadhelper". Once you’re looking at the video you want on youtube, click the video downloadhelper icon and then click the name of the video you want downloaded. It will download to a folder of your choice in the .flv video format. You can then convert this to a different type of video using a number of different programs, such as mediacoder, or leave it as is. If you don’t you will need to install a video player that can play flv files. I personally use "the kmplayer".

I only do it so far with your tube, I created a folder in my desktop named Myviedos them I download the program atubecatcher that it is free in the net, them when I want to download a video from you tube I open the program copy the link from youtube them I tell it to download and show it where to download and if I want different format.
