What is a good program to download for writing a newspaper?
I need a good program to format pages and articles and everything. Preferably a free one. Also a logo making software would be good, but not necessary
Check out OpenOffice.org. OpenOffice is Open Source free for anyone to use. It has many of the features of Microsoft Office without all the negatives that go along with that.
As for logo making software, suggest you learn some basic graphic design regarding logos, and do sketches with pencil and paper then move up to color if you want before you start playing around on the computer for the designs.
There is logo making software out there, and illustration software, but if you don't understand the purpose and the audience for your designs, it's just going to look very amateur (anyone can use clipart, and even some designers use it as a start, but then take it a lot further.)
